STATUTE
OF THE INTERNATIONAL ARTISTIC MOVEMENT
GAIOCARDIUM
(Gaiocardium International Artistic Movement)
Gaiocardium [translate:Γαιοκάρδιον] is a global artistic movement that beats like the Earth’s heart, uniting art and nature for the protection and regeneration of our planet.
The name derives from from ancient Greek Γαῖα (Latin Gaia, Earth) and Greek Κάρδιον Latin cardium (heart).
Gaiocardium means [translate:Heart of the Earth], symbolizing love and care for the natural world.
Article 1 – Foundation
The international artistic movement “Gaiocardium” is founded to unite sculptor artists with the aim of promoting art that defends nature, life, and humanity.
It is a free, non-profit movement, open to anyone who shares its core principles.
Article 2 – Mission
The “Gaiocardium” movement is guided by the principle of action based on offering, not protest.
Its mission is to promote art that serves life, bridges humanity and nature, and spreads messages of respect, hope, and regeneration for the Earth by fostering works that inspire ecological awareness and spiritual renewal.
Through art, we inspire change in human consciousness and action for:
Protection of the natural environment
Regeneration of vegetation and biodiversity
Human-nature connection
Article 3 – Principles
The Core Principles of the Movement are:
Art serves life.
It is not luxury or decoration; it is a necessity, a breath, and a light for humans and the Earth.
Nature is the first teacher.
From it, we learn form, harmony, balance, and measure.
We create with respect, not arrogance.
Each work must coexist with its environment, not dominate it. It does not protest, it offers.
Creation is an act of responsibility.
Artists must recognize the impact of their work on the world.
Our art protects; it does not ignore.
It defends life, forests, waters, and all living beings.
We place art within the world, not apart from it.
We create in natural places, close to people, within the flow of life.
Beauty is responsibility.
What is beautiful must also be true, just, and free from violence and selfishness.
We transform pain into memory and hope.
Where there is destruction, art plants the seed of regeneration.
Offering is an act of love.
“Gaiocardium” is not sold — it is offered to heal, move, and unite.
We create with sustainable means.
We use natural or ecological materials, respecting the planet’s resources.
We collaborate with communities.
Art is born through collectivity, shared experience, and participation.
Art has no borders.
It belongs to all people, beyond countries, religions, and ideologies.
Gaiocardium is a movement of consciousness.
It is not a trend or fashion; it is a way of living, creating, and loving the Earth.
Gaiocardium – Art for the Earth, Art for Life.
Every work is a prayer, a promise, and an act of hope.
Article 4 – Members and Supporters
4.1 Members
Members can be recognized sculptors from all countries who accept the Movement’s Core Principles.
Participation is free and without financial compensation.
Each member is morally committed to promoting the Movement’s message through their creations, contributing — to the best of their ability — at least one work per year offered to nature in a place in need of protection.
4.2 Supporters
Supporters can be individuals, groups, or communities who participate in actions, organize events, or contribute in any way to the Movement’s mission.
Supporters do not have the obligations of members but actively support the Movement’s initiatives.
4.3 Registration Process
Membership and supporter registration is carried out through the Movement’s website or official social media channels.
Article 5 – Actions
The Movement may organize or participate in actions that promote art, human-nature connection, and environmental awareness, such as:
Creation and exhibition of sculptures in natural or public spaces
Artistic installations and interventions in nature
Cleaning, reforestation, and planting activities
Educational programs and workshops linking art with nature
International collaborations with artistic, environmental, or cultural organizations
Digital dissemination of the message via social networks and online tools
Article 6 – Contribution
The Movement is entirely non-profit. Artists participate voluntarily. Materials and hospitality, where necessary, may be provided by host communities.
The works:
Works created within the “Gaiocardium” framework are made only from natural materials. No plastics or recycled plastics are used. The environment is never polluted — art highlights natural beauty, not the “value” of waste.
Works are never sold for commercial profit.
They are offered or donated as signs of hope in areas affected by natural or environmental disasters, where symbolic regeneration is needed (tree planting, clean-ups).
Article 7 – Organization and Coordination
The Movement operates with an open and collaborative structure. It may cooperate with public bodies, foundations, schools, botanical gardens, museums, cultural organizations, or ecological initiatives that share the same ethical values and principles.
Coordination is carried out by a group of founders or a council, acting voluntarily.
There is no hierarchical structure; responsibility is shared and collective.
Each member remains free to create initiatives and works in their region, while maintaining communication with the international Gaiocardium – Art for the Earth network, to exchange experiences, knowledge, and initiatives.

Article 8 – Dissemination and Communication
The Movement promotes its works, actions, and core principles through exhibitions, presentations, meetings, collaborations with cultural and environmental organizations, as well as through traditional and digital media.
Dissemination is carried out with respect for the Movement’s ecological, humanitarian, and artistic values, avoiding any form of commercialization that undermines Gaiocardium’s philosophy.
Special emphasis is placed on digital presence and international networking, so that the message reaches artists, communities, and institutions worldwide.
Article 9 – Languages and Global Reach
The Movement’s official languages are Greek, English, Italian, and Spanish, with the possibility to expand to other languages.
The Movement is open to artists and supporters from every continent, reinforcing the global dimension of its mission.
Article 10 – Recognition
Participation in the Movement is symbolic and spiritual. Participants align with Gaiocardium’s shared values, acting authentically and without financial or personal gain, serving Art and Nature.
Article 11 – Movement Symbol
The “Gaiocardium” symbol is a Tree of Life, around which children stand.
One child holds a heart, another — larger — raises a heart high toward the sky, and more hearts bloom on the tree’s branches.
The tree symbolizes the Earth and the continuity of life, the children represent the future and innocence, and the hearts express love, care, and the connection between humans and nature.
This symbol embodies the essence of the Movement: the unity of all living beings, the joy of creation, and the act of love for the Earth, labeled below the emblem as:

11a – Secondary Symbol
The second Gaiocardium symbol is a green heart enclosing the Earth, expressing love and protection for our planet.
At the bottom of the heart, where the lines meet, is a small red heart — the pulse point, a living flame reminding us that human presence, when connected with love and consciousness, can heal.
Above the heart, a delicate leaf emerges — a symbol of regeneration, life, and responsibility toward nature.
The composition expresses the unity of Earth and humans, ecological awareness, and an optimistic vision of humanity creating with love for life.
The emblem reads below:

Article 12 – Logo and Use of Symbols
The “Gaiocardium” symbols serve as a common point of recognition for all members.
They may be freely used by any artist or group participating in the Movement, provided the form and meaning remain intact.
The symbol may accompany works, actions, exhibitions, or publications serving the Movement’s core principles and may be artistically adapted as long as the essence remains recognizable — the Tree of Life, the children, and surrounding hearts.
Use of the symbols implies respect for the Movement’s values and acceptance of its principles.
Article 13 – Annual Meeting and Symposium
An annual meeting of the “Gaiocardium” members is held on a pre-determined date.
The meeting may take place in Greece or any other country with active members.
During the meeting, the following may be organized:
Woodcarving or nature sculpture symposium
Workshops and exhibitions
Public actions and lectures
Discussions and decisions for future joint initiatives
Selection of sites for new works or missions of the Movement
The annual meeting represents a moment of unity, exchange, and inspiration, strengthening the international spirit of cooperation, friendship, and respect for the Earth.
Article 14 – Functioning, Decision-Making, and Consensus
Decisions of the “Gaiocardium” Movement are made by consensus among members participating in meetings or joint actions, whether in person or online.
If full consensus is not possible, decisions are made by a simple majority of those present, physically or via digital platforms.
Each member has an equal voice and vote, regardless of experience, nationality, or art form.
Decisions are symbolically recorded in the meeting minutes and communicated to all members through official channels, in person or digitally.
Each decision aims to serve the good of the Earth, Art, and Humanity, with a spirit of cooperation and respect.
Article 15 – Core Operational Principles
Transparency: All decisions, expenses, and actions of the Movement are publicly shared via website and social media. No member is excluded from information — everyone participates and sees how Gaiocardium is built.
Respect for Diversity: The Movement invites artists, cultures, genders, and ages worldwide. Every voice and creation matters, as diversity unites humanity with nature.
Article 16 – Closing Statement
“Gaiocardium” has no temporal limits or borders.
It was born to express, through art, humanity’s gratitude toward the Earth and to remind us that every creation is an act of love, responsibility, and hope.
The Movement’s duration is indefinite, and its activity remains free, non-profit, and open to all artists who share its principles. No country, group, or individual can claim it — it belongs to all and to the Earth itself.
Each participating member undertakes to serve the spirit of life, peace, and creative unity, with humility, respect, and dedication.
The Movement’s symbols — the Tree of Life surrounded by children holding and raising hearts, and the heart enclosing the Earth — express the union between nature, love, and the world’s future.
“Gaiocardium” is not only artistic expression but an act of love and responsibility toward the planet. Every work born from this Movement is a prayer for Life.
SIGNATURE DECLARATION
